Cornet player Felicity Provan, pianist Achim Kaufmann and drummer Michael Vatcher explore the rich field of tension between composition and improvisation. A regular set list of Booklet is taken from Tobias Delius’s notebook with favourite songs, melodies and chord progressions. In his trio, reed player Delius improvises with bassist Joe Williamson and drummer Steve Heather. ‘Magical... high tension from the first moment until the last’ (Die Zeit).
