The music of Chambertones sounds warm and familiar. However, the intimate setting of clarinet, electric guitar and double bass presented a new challenge for these giants of Dutch jazz. Some of the artists with whom saxophone and clarinet player Joris Roelofs has collaborated include Brad Mehldau, Lionel Loueke and Cristina Branco. He has known in-demand bassist Clemens van der Feen ever since he was a child.
