‘Chris Potter has grown into one of the major saxophonists of today’ (Penguin Guide to Jazz). Potter’s playing always sounds powerful, regardless of the line-up or style in which he operates. In his electric band Underground drummer Nate Smith, bass player Fima Ephron and guitarist Adam Rogers provide solid support with complex, but funky grooves. With original compositions by the band members and covers of songs by Radiohead, Dylan and Strayhorn, Underground unites music from different genres and eras.
