A double bill with a few of the most talented young Dutch jazz musicians. Invited by the programmers of the Vereniging van Jazz en Improvisatiemuziek Podia (VIP) Harmen Fraanje performs with his new quartet Aneris, with Michael Moore on saxophone and clarinet, Brice Soniano on bass and Toma Goudband on drums. The second half of the program will be occupied with the Franz von Chossy Trio, winners of the Dutch Jazz Competition 2006 for 'an original, dynamic and sometimes virtuoso (combined) play'. The band leader was awarded with the prize for Best Soloist for his 'subtle, spacious and personal performance'.
