Guitarist Gilad Hekselman is one of the remarkable young Israeli-born jazz players who are conquering the world from Brooklyn, New York, with among others He has collaborated with likeminded musicians such as Chris Potter, Mark Turner en Jeff Ballard. Gilad has warm and clear guitar tone. His improvisations are imaginative and his narrative melodies are captivating and timeless. ZuperOctave is his new, electronically oriented band featuring Aaron Parks on piano and keys and Kush Abadey on drums.
