After having studied with many famous trumpet players like, for instance, Wynton Marsalis, it appears that Loet van der Lee is a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to handling his instrument. He uses his skills in a varied programme filled with 'colorful ballads, groovy standards and heavy blues'. Vocalist Heleen van den Hombergh also shows all-round qualities, which she proved with her highly successful debut album 'Heard in the Scene'. She draws from jazz, soul and pop music, sings full of passion, supported by a five star rhythm section.
