New York drummer Jim Black has a strong preference for unruly rock bands such as Sonic Youth and Radiohead. Blacks own group produces a big sound, with lots of noise and sound effects. Saxophonist Chris Speed and guitarist Hilmar Jensson play along effortlessly with the times changes laid down by Black and bass player Skuli Sverrisson.
