In the new concert series Latin Crossroads the Bimhuis café stages musical crossovers, with Latin jazz as a point of departure. Percussion player Jaime Rodriguez and his band welcome a continuously changing lineup of guests who combine their own styles and backgrounds with Latin-American jazz. This month’s guest is tabla player Niti Ranjan Biswas. The percussionist, who hails from Bangladesh, has played with many celebrities from the Indian classical tradition. In his music he thoughtfully integrates jazz influences.
The Bimhuis restaurant will be open before and after Latin Crossroads, from 16:30 until 20:00, serving ensaladas and fajitas.
