Cor Fuhler gitaar, Nora Mulder cymbalom, Wilbert de Joode bas, Oscar-Jan Hoogland electrisch clavichord
Pianist Cor Fuhler was born with a love for everything that has strings and keys on it. Aside from the grand piano he plays all kinds of strange organs. He designed and built his own keyboard-operated violin, the keyolin. For the new quartet Pluk he takes the guitar, only to treat this instrument in an unorthodox manner as well. Nora Mulder plays the cimbalom, the string instrument that is played with two beaters and is common in gypsy music. Oscar Jan Hoogland has an electric clavichord at his disposal, the modern version of the oldest keyboard instrument in the world. The group is rounded out by double bassist Wilbert de Joode. The music that Fuhler devises for this group is full of adventure and subtle humour.
