Cello player Ernst Reijseger and singer/percussionist Mola Sylla have been performing as a duo for a while now. Their first meeting with pianist Harmen Fraanje in 2008 took place on stage, where it seemed as though they had been playing together for years. The three collaborated on film music for director Werner Herzog. Their repertoire consists of African songs in Wolof, the native language of Senegalese born Sylla, and compositions by Reijseger and Fraanje. On top they that they regularly cut loose with improvisations full of humor and heartfelt beauty.
