The American pianist and composer Uri Caine operates mainly in the New York avant-garde jazz scene with musicians like John Zorn and Dave Douglas. In recent years he became known for his arrangements in which he re-envisioned music of Mahler, Bach and Beethoven. This time, he will show his capabilities with his jazz piano trio with which 'he shows to be a true master in unraveling and putting back together complex melodies and rhythms.' (NRC Handelsblad)
