VIRAL RADIO FESTIVAL: FURT / ICARUS

The Viral Radio Festival for new electronic music will take place this year from July 1-3 with concerts at the Bimhuis, De Verdieping and Trouw. Two British duos will perform at the Bimhuis. FURT creates dense and intricate music operating between composition and improvisation. ‘One of the most blisteringly energetic and experimental partnerships over the past twenty years’ (The Guardian). Icarus continues the electro-acoustic heritage of Stockhausen and Cage. ‘They rewire... 50s classics using new technology and dance beats’ (The Wire).
