BVHaast has released over a hundred sound recordings in the past thirty years. They are of an amazing variety but always interesting, genuine and not to be found anywhere else. The program of these anniversary concerts is a reflection of the catalogue and the immense record collection of musical omnivore Willem Breuker. Jazz and classical music coming from surprising directions, comedy and theatre, tight arrangements and powerful individuals. Naturally this all comes together in his, still unique, Kollektief. In the concert hall there will be an exhibition of record- and CD covers and other BVHaast & Willem Breuker Kollektief memorabilia, put together by Pieter Boersma.
