The Bimhuis receives many booking requests from musicians. Although we try to listen to all CD's etc., we are not able to respond to everyone. We apologize and ask for your understanding.
REHEARSAL
The Bimhuis has a rehearsal studio, sized 46m2 with a high ceiling (4m).

Monday-Friday: 10:00-13:00h, 13:30-16:30h

The rent of the rehearsal studio for a block of three hours incl. VAT:
One block: € 40,-
Two blocks: € 70,-
Using the Steinway B Grand Piano costs € 35,- for the first 3 hours (every extra 3 hours cost € 10,-).
Additional tuning (only on request) will be charged (€ 52,- till € 78,- depends on day and point of time).
Booking a rehearsal studio can only be done by telephone +31(0)20-788 2150 (MO-FR 10:00-17:00).
Additional technical requirements need to be requested when booking the studio, there are no technicians available during the daytime. Payment can be done by cash or PIN directly after the rehearsal.
Cancelling a booking must be done at the latest 48 hours before the rehearsal.

RECORDING STUDIO
The Bimhuis has a recording studio that has been used for many live CD's/DVD's and radio broadcasts. The studio features 48 active audio lines to the stage.
In the studio there is an Audient ASP8024 analogue mixer with 36 channels and rackmount equipment by Langevin, Urei, DBX, Lexicon, TC and Focusrite.
We can record up to 32 channels at 24 bit 96kHz.

Discount arrangements for musicians and music students
BIM MEMBERS After showing their membership card, members of the BIM (Beroepsvereniging van Improviserende Musici) will receive:
a discount of up to 30% on the entrance fee at the Bimhuis
an 80% discount on the purchase of a Bimhuis Card (€ 58 instead € 290).
MUSIC CONSERVATORY OR MUSIC SCIENCE STUDENTS
After showing their student card, Music Conservatory students and Musicology students will receive:
a discount of up to 30% on the entrance fee at the Bimhuis
a special discount on the purchase of a Bimhuis Card (€ 170 instead € 290).
Multiple discounts are not possible.
